| Abstract |
The discription of electronic structure of a eight-coordinated V thiolate complex has been controversial. UV-Vis and V NMR suggest that it is a V(IV) with a thiol radical. However, spectroscopic techniques coupled with DFT calculations in this study show that the electronic structure should be a V(V) with thiolate ligands. |
