Social Event

The XLDB-2013 reception and dinner will take place on Tuesday, September 10th, 6 pm at the Knight Management Center -- the same location where the conference is held.

Instead of a seated dinner, this year's dinner will be on the casual side, serving a variety of heavier appetizers, finger foods, desserts, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A blend of seated and standing-height tables will facilitate mingling, networking, roaming, and mixing. Certain tables will be marked with XLDB-related topics to help like-interested folks to flock together.

The discounted cost of dinner for conference registrants is $40. Additional dinners for guests may be purchased for $85 each.
