SLAC Campus

All talks will be held in Kavli Auditorium (Building 51). SSI badges required. All discussion sessions will be held in the Redwood Rooms (C&D) in the Research Office Building (R.O.B.) - Building 48.

Access to SLAC
All visitors are required to show a valid photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license) in order to enter SLAC. Visitors staying at the Guest House will be issued a guest card to further ease the access check. The SLAC Main Gate is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you are locked out of any building during off hours, you can always to go the main gate or call (650)926-2551 to ask a security guard to open building doors.

Miscellaneous Information
The Stanford Guest House is located on SLAC site (building #49). It is the first building on the left after turning left from the guard gate. Parking in front of the Guest House is designated for the registered guests.

Parking at SLAC is in general free for all, except for disabled spaces, government cars only spaces, and parking in front of the Guest House (that space is for registered Guest House registrants only).  

Harvest Cafe (building #42) serves breakfast and lunch on weekdays. To learn more about the hours and menus, please go to the Harvest Cafe website.

There is a cash ATM in the Panofsky Auditorium breezeway (between building #42 and #43).

There are a few dining places close to SLAC. The Quadrus Cafe in the Quadrus complex across from SLAC is open for lunch on weekdays. The Sharon Heights shopping center is less than a 10 minute walk from SLAC and includes restaurants, a gas station, bank, 24 hour Safeway supermarket, deli, bakery, and Starbucks.

If you have a car, then many dining options are available. Please refer to the restaurant list located in your registration packet for further details.

Printing
For printing files during the workshop, the general instruction for printing from the wireless network can be found at http://www.slac.stanford.edu/comp/service/printing/ with separate instructions for UNIX and Windows. Some selected printer near the most frequent meeting locations:
